The Illinois Bar Association Mental Health Committee is pleased to present Mental Health Law Day 2009: “Understanding the Essentials of Mental Health Law & Using the Law as a Tool for Recovery”. The forum will bring together noted mental health, social service, public safety practitioners and consumers along with several esteemed members of the Illinois bar to exchange views regarding the role of the state mental health justice system in assuring that mental health concerns are properly addressed.

The Conference, an excellent opportunity for Mental Health Practitioners, Social Workers, Psychologist, Psychotherapists, Psychiatrists, Attorneys, Hospital Administrators and Consumers of mental health services to come together as common stakeholders in the system, occurs Wednesday, May 13, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Northwestern University School of Law, Thorne Auditorium, 375 East Chicago Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.
