You have to share your story because it’s a testimony. I think that so many people really do need to know that they are not alone because there are so many people out here. I felt like I was alone. As a parent I was set aside for many differences. One because I was a young parent. Then I had a special need daughter and learned she wasn’t the only one. It’s like you have to keep on talking – we don’t really have much hush-hush in our household. We talk about everything. We put it out there because they be knowledgeable about it, they need to comprehend and they need to know that the way you say it is the way you say it. No one else can say it like you. So, your voice is of value and it needs to be heard and every person should feel like they are valued and that they deserve to be heard. So, that’s “Say it out loud.”

If a person came to me and told me about their problem, like in a one-on-one conversation, I would tell them that it’s better to speak out and voice your opinion to someone that will help you go through this. You can need help, you don’t have to be all, you know. Open up and “Say it out loud.”
